We finally whipped up Round #1 of promotional banners, since many of you have been asking for them. I’m sure we’re going to keep changing and having fun with them over time.
Thanks so much for waiting AND for offering to want to promote Popscribe as much as possible. Patrice and I both really appreciate it.
You can grab a banner and the code from the Promote page in the navigation menu.
Much Love,
Popscribe

Anyway, they’re all fixed up now. Thanks much!

I’m not really a MySpace expert so I’m kinda stumped. They work for me in all the test I tried. :unhappy:

I don’t get it either… I am all kinds of confused. Maybe I’m just stupid…

The banner doesn’t work on my website either, so it’s not just a myspace error thing…
You’re not stupid Aurora! Cause if you are, it means I am too :surprise:

I know nothing when it comes to codes like this, I know more HTML than anything… but on my myspace only 2 little dots show up where I put the code in…. Not to mention, I know it sounds stupid, but the codes for these banners look different. Like, the quotation marks are throwing me off and, I dunno.

Ahhh, sometimes it’s the strangest things. I’ve had to troubleshoot php scripts just for a comma that’s missing. In this case I think it was how the “visual writing” tool was changing the quote marks.
Thanks for pointing that out Aurora.
I think I’ve got that covered now and I’d appreciate someone testing it for me.

Hmm… Now it’s a bunch of text. :unhappy: When I preview my profile, I see the banner, but when I view my profile… it’s all text.
Go to my page http://www.myspace.com/too_damn_adorable
It’s my heroes section.

Alright…so now I created a MySpace account to test and put a banner in 3-4 times to test and it worked every time.

Why am I stupid then? I can’t figure it out… :unhappy:

Ok… I am pretty sure it works now. Again, I see it when I click “Preview Profile” but when I view my profile like everyone else, I don’t see it…

I figured out the problem! You can’t put it ANYWHERE on the left-hand side of your profile… Not under interests, music, movies, etc. That’s all I had to do… Wow. I feel dumb. Sorry for making you do all that stuff, John. I apologize…
