Lynne’s book on “Raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community” has been shelved indefinitely by her publisher which also publishes other inspirational books and Bibles.
According to a spokesperson “The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,”, which means “We will cancel it when she officially lets us know Jamie Lynn is pregnant”. In the meantime they are saying “We are standing behind Lynne at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that.” I really would so buy a Lynne Spears book on raising kids if for no other reason than to do the polar opposite.

This makes me sick.
So now it’s ok to have 16-yr-old pregnant daughters and 20-something daughters who abuse their children.
This whole family needs to be locked away.

I just want to say, give Lynn Spears a break. Even the best parents have problems and need help. We don’t live with them, we don’t know them personally and hence, we have no right to judge. This parent has more on her plate than any parent needs. I support her and will pray for the family. Perhaps Britney has a legitimate mental illness? Is that Lynn’s fault? Is Jamie-Lynn the only 16 year old to be having sex…especially in the world of celebrity?
Less judging, less enjoying their pain and a little bit of support. Shame on Dr. Phil for exploiting Britney. That, I am sure is a HUGE part of the problem. She is exploited every time she turns her head. There is nowhere for her to hide and nowhere to run.Perhaps we could try to let her get some much needed rest and help for whatever it is that is troubling her. She is suffering…let’s not enjoy her pain (for entertainment purposes)so much.
