Dr. Phil Broke The Spears Circle of Trust

The Spears family is pretty pissed off at Dr. Phil McGraw for opening his mouth during the whole hospital incident. He made a bunch of public statements about his visit with Britney Spears at the hospital.

Family spokesman Lou Taylor, a business manager for mother Lynne and daughter Jamie Lynn Spears, appeared on Wednesday's Today show and also said that at no time had the family planned to do a show with McGraw, despite his statements about such a program. (McGraw later said the scheduled episode would not go on as originally planned.)

"It was decided it would be detrimental to ever do that," said Taylor, who described McGraw's request for such a show in the first place to be "self-serving." She also said that McGraw has now "compromised" Lynne and Jamie Lynn's relationship with Britney.

The thing about Dr. Phil is he believes in not lying to his patients and being outspoken. he doesn't let his patients lie to themselves and make excuses either. It's like tough love. If you ask me, Britney doesn't need someone to pander to her about all the issues she has, but step right up into her face and tell her she's screwing up her family, her kids, and her friends. He's like a bald wake-up call with a moustache.
