Dane Cook on Jessica Alba

The world can rest easy now. The magnificent Dane Cook *joke thief cough cough* has stated that Jessica Alba will make and excellent mother. Phew! We can all relax now.

On whether Jess will be a good mom, the actor had nothing but kind words for his former leading lady. "She'll be fantastic. She's so compassionate and very attentive," Dane tells OK!. "Some people you kind of feel like they're meant for that, and she's one of those people that just has those nurturing qualities."

Cook goes on to say he and Jessica clicked from the start. He tells OK! it only took an hour of talking before he felt, "That's the girl I want for the movie. She's really wonderful."

Now am I reading this right in that Dane is taking credit for getting Jessica the job? That's the girl HE wanted? WTF? She's not the best actress in the world, but her career is 100 times bigger then his. Him dissing the Alba like that is just so wrong. In fact it's wrongy-wrong!

ps) Nice way to make her baby be about promoting your movie dude...
