Britney Spears Skipped Court

So it was the big news of the day was that Britney Spears finally showed up at the courthouse yesterday for her custody hearing, but then drove around the garage for a bit, got out and talked to lawyers in the hall, got in her car and drove around more, got out in front of the court, paced around a bit, got back in her car and went home. All-in-all it was very productive.

...when Britney first arrived at the courthouse and went into an underground tunnel, she was met by two of her lawyers -- Anne Kiley and Tara Scott. We're told they actually got into the Escalade to speak with her. That's when Brit said she just didn't want to testify.

That would also explain why she didn't go inside the courthouse from the tunnel. Once she drove away, she came back -- and at one point got out of the SUV -- but then got back in and drove off.

She went home but she also made a couple pit stops. One to a church for some prayer:

Britney Spears made a pit stop at the Little Brown Church in the San Fernando Valley this afternoon -- but no, she wasn't planning a wedding.

A church rep tells TMZ that the historic chapel is open 24/7 365 for anyone "who wants to go in and pray." We're told Britney walked into the church- followed by a throng of paparazzi. So much for peace and quiet!

And then later she stopped for Mexican food and visited a pharmacy, what else?

After showing up -- and then immediately bagging her court date yesterday, Brit hightailed it to the San Fernando Valley with dos hombres, Adnan and Sam, causing a mad pap crush at Gaucho Grill, an Argentinian restaurant.

Instead of quietly taking the elevator down to the private underground parking lot, Brit and the gang took a "look at us" escalator ride down into the waiting sea of paparazzi. After that madness -- and the requisite outfit change -- a British Brit then stopped off at a Hollywood Rite Aid, tightly grasping her man's hand as they traversed the photog-filled parking lot.

Those are her two favorite things in the whole world and they seem like a daily ritual. I think now it's clear that Britney has no respect for the court's time and is crazy as hell. Heavy on the crazy. Speaking of crazy...this dude was outside the court wearing a dollhouse hat. He seemed very happy to talk to the press and seemed like a better mother then Britney.
