American Idol: Good and Bad Week
This week on American Idol we finally lost someone I liked, Asia'h Epperson. She was just adorable and the fact that she had lost her dad just a couple days before the audition just had me hooked on her personal story. It's a bummer. That was the bad obviously, because we also lost Danny Noriega who I had code-named "Girl Face" from the first audition. He was annoying if you ask me.

Danny Noriega is the only reason I could concvice myself to tune in each week… the top 12 is a joke this year, none of them seem genuine, it reminds me of star search and how everyone was just so plastic on that show.

It was a tough call in both cases because both are talented singers. I think Danny, underneath all that androgynous bullshit, is a very talented vocalist, but he never managed to give a solid performance. Girl-face is a perfectly adequate nickname as I too have remarked “he would make an attractive woman”.
The top 12 is very good so it seems like we’ll have close calls the whole way through.
