John Mayer has penned a letter to some former ex of his, although he says to not read to far into it on a personal level and there are no hidden messages. He said he just thought it sums up how crazy love can be
Dear Ex Lover,
Perhaps you didn't understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I'll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore. I don't know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I'm done trying.
I hope this is enough closure for you.

Actually, he also stated he was writing lyrics or something like that, which is amazing because just the other day...I did the same thing!
Dear John,
You're a douche who seems to be banging hot chicks left and right. That makes me pretty pissed off, but nowhere near as mad as I was to find out that every song you sing sounds pretty much the same. I could have saved myself $15 and just bought one song from iTunes and played it over and over. So don't bother writing new lyrics, because I'm done buying.
