Actor Shelley Malil Arrested for Murder

Here’s a video compilation (after the jump) with pretty much everything actor Shelley Malil has done. His biggest role was in The 40-Year-Old Virgin though. Anyway, he’s been arrested for “investigation of attempted murder after his former girlfriend was critically injured when she was stabbed more than 20 times” which really seems like it should read “arrested for actually murdering his ex-girlfriend in a fit of rage.”

The actor had gone to the beach city to meet his attorney, who along with family and friends had persuaded him to surrender to authorities, police said.

Deputies in San Marcos, Calif., responded Sunday night to reports of screams for help and breaking glass and found a woman with multiple stab wounds and cuts on her face. Listed as critical Monday morning, the woman’s condition was not known on Tuesday.

“Malil and the victim had apparently been in a dating relationship which recently ended,” according to the police the statement, which said Malil faced charges of investigation of attempted murder, mayhem and burglary.

So now it seems Hollywood is going to be short one stereotypical East Indian store clerk/doctor/tech guy. Dat is berry much a chame.
