The Next Great Prime Minister of Canada?

While Canada, large in size, though it might be, yet not a superpower, must now poach our own beloved Alex Trebek to host “Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister”. I’m pretty sure that’s not an Idol-level position and hopefully not how the Canucks elect leaders, but I’d have to brush up on my expertise in Canadian law.
Are we so seriously deprived for TV that we turn to Bad Girls’ Club, Inner Beauty, yet another season of The Bachelor and now Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister? If I see Barack on the Price is Right, I’m immigrating to Tahiti.
You can’t, honestly go from hosting a trivia show to help picking a leader of the free world. It just doesn’t work that way. Or God help us if it does.
