Pastor Danny Nalliah of Catch the Fire Ministries (you’ll get the irony in a minute) offered assistance to devastated communities of the bush fires that are destroying Victoria, but only after adding that he was nonplussed because he had a dream about them last October because of abortion laws passed in Victoria.
The rest of this post is obvious.
We are all apparently under the purview of a vengeful God with a great sense of irony to give the man at the helm of the Catch the Fire Ministries a dream that there will be a bush fire that will destroy homes and peoples’ lives months in advance. You would think that he would have a little more imagination than a vision and a burning bush — that’s been done, Danny. Either way, our hearts go out to those that are being affected by the fires. C’mon down from the pulpit; you’re already well on your way to becoming the Aussie Pat Robertson.
