Heidi Klum, herself, attended the opener for Fashion Week – but to a “What would Barbie wear?” contest. It would have been a subtle hint to how fashion has evolved over the past, let’s say 50 years, until they trotted out the little girls in tutus for the final walk. Has Mattel been incubating pedophilia for young teenagers all these years? Who thought this was a good idea?
Ironically most of the kids in attendance hated all the clothes and commented freely.
With Calvin Klein, Vera Wang, and Michael Kors (irony abounds) in the audience girls mostly said
‘Barbie Wouldn’t Wear That!’
Amen, sister.
