In what I consider to be a completely valid excuse, Woody Harrelson assaulted a photographer at the airport who was following him and taking pictures because he thought the man was a zombie.
“I wrapped a movie called ‘Zombieland,’ in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character,” Harrelson said in a statement issued Friday by his publicist.
“With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie,” he said.
Let’s be clear about this. He thought the man was a zombie and not just any zombie, but a zombie with a camera. During the altercation, the two exchange words, scuffle a bit, and woody supposedly breaks his camera and then hands it back to him. Way to keep that zombie off guard Woody!
