In a move that crushed thousands of hearts around the world, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren got married yesterday at a Beverly Hills courthouse. They walked in, applied for a licence and then did the deed.

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.

"She looked happy but nervous," the source says.

Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants, arrived with Alba at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and waited about 40 minutes for the paperwork to be processed before a staff member from the courthouse married them, the source says.

Nobody else attended the wedding, the source adds.

Now it's official. Ashlee Simpson married to Pete Wentz on Saturday in a private ceremony at her parents house.

Around noon on Saturday, the groom arrived via limo at the Encinco, Calif., home of Ashlee's dad Joe Simpson, who also officiated over the non-denominational ceremony under white tents.

Big sis Jess, who arrived with on-off beau Tony Romo before noon in the Employee of the Month star's Range Rover, was maid of honor. According to reports, Pete's bulldog Hemingway served as ring-bearer.

Also in attendance were Nicole Richie and her rocker babydaddy Joel Madden. Wearing jeans to the event were the other members of Fall Out Boy. Scrubs star Donald Faison along with girlfriend, Jess' former assistant CaCee Cobb, were there for the blessed event.

I've been telling you the rumors all week and now it's confirmed that Jessica Simpson is back on the market. Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have officially split. It seems he couldn't handle her goofy behavior over the whole Mayer and Aniston thing.

"Tony did dump Jessica," a source close to the quarterback told Us. "Of course, she's upset!"

Part of the reason for the break up after only six months?

"This Jen and John Mayer thing is eating her up, and she just can't handle it - and Tony has basically had enough," a Simpson pal told Us. "She's too much to handle."

The newest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, reports that the day Aniston and Mayer went public as a couple, Simpson went on a four-hour drinking binge that left her so out of it, she had to call her mom for a ride home!

But there's a chance this on-again, off-again pair may reunite.

"He's broken up with her before, but I don't know if they'll get back together this time," a source tells Us.

Just last month Simpson was referring to Romo as her "future husband" and he was seen ring-shopping.

And although their relationship is done, Simpson may still have an ode to her ex beau on her new album.

I guess this is it then. She's officially been cut loose so it's now the best time to strike. Her ex-husband Nick Lachey got remarried, her ex-boyfriend John Mayer has a new lady, and now her current boyfriend just dumped her. She's  rebounding so hard that the next guy will probably close the deal by the end of dinner.

I could have posted this yesterday, but I was thinking maybe it was a silly joke. Britney Spears got on a private jet with Mel Gibson and headed off for a couple days in Costa Rica at Mel's private place. That's just weird...

We spotted them leaving on a private plane to the Central American state early this morning. Sources tell us that Mel is taking Britney and her father JAMIE for a mini-vacation. We've learned they will be guests at Mel's home in Costa Rica.

According to the terms of her custody Britney's children cannot leave the country without special approval. There is no confirmation as to whether she sought approval and we're told they are not joining her on the trip.

While the pop star and the actor may appear to be an unlikely duo, they used to live in the same Malibu community and were spotted having dinner together at Studio City's Romanov restaurant in March.

Dog the Bounty Hunter (aka: Duane Chapman) has started filming its fifth season and you know you're going to watch it. The action, the suspense, the ultra-mullet hair, and his wife's crazy tight outfits are all just too much for people to miss. A&E knows it's a winner so they held a press conference that was certainly planned to every single word.

The Chapman family, A&E executives and a representative from a civil rights organization were part of a carefully choreographed press conference Wednesday to announce the relaunch of the show.

The message: Chapman deserves a second chance.

"It's not about ratings," A&E spokesman Michael Feeney said. "We know his heart. We know him and know he's not a racist."

Scott Lonker, vice president nonfiction and alternative programming at A&E, said viewer demand for the show also weighed in the decision.

Niger Innis, national chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality, said Chapman's use of the racial slur was wrong. But he noted that Chapman "took ownership of the harm it caused" and "sought to turn his life around."

I can't wait to watch him catch a black person and then sit in the truck and lecture them about how much he loves them. That will be awesome. He'll be trying to repent to all of America and explain how his Native American blood loves all races equally. As long as you're not a part of his family that is.

So the outcome of crack-loving Amy Winehouse smoking crack on a video tape is that she will not be charged by the police.

"Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against Amy Winehouse in relation to an investigation into a video handed to them in January," a rep for the British singer, 24, told Usmagazine.com.

"She was questioned by police last week and released on unconditional bail," the rep added. "Amy's bail date to return to Limehouse police station has been cancelled, bringing this matter to an end."

U.K.'s The Sun published photos of the video in January. Winehouse spent nine hours talking to police on May 8.

Now how's that for justice? It's like having Hannibal Lector saying he loves to eat human flesh and having video tape of him actually eating human flesh and then watching him be released back into the world...to eat human flesh. She's a junkie and being arrested would probably save her life, but I do have some money riding her on her in a Dead Pool so I guess it's still a win for me so I can't complain.
