I love how people can be so stupid sometimes. Every now and then I do something dumb (I know...can you believe it?) and then I straighten out. Case in point here is Michael Lohan who spoke in public about daughter Lindsay Lohan and her business. That got a very angry response from her (and Samantha Ronson) about him being a jerk and speaking in public.

Hmmm, how could he make this matter better? I know! Speak about it in public again! What a tool.

"Who's out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break," he told ABCNews.com. "Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins ... She's gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who's out of control?

"I go to church," he continued. "I go and help people in rehab. That's control. How can she say I'm out of control?"

Not only that...

"I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay ... Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life," Michael said. "That's what Dina told me. I'm reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy."

"Dina's a two-face," he continued. "She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay's good side instead of being a good parent. I don't give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she's going to turn around to me and tell me, 'Daddy, you were right.'"

Here's some advice idiot. Stop worrying about who looks like the good guy and just stop talking to the public. You should be talking to your kid and not having a fight with her via MySpace.

Oh yeah, and he's also getting a one-hour television special where he's going to expose the whole family to more crap. Nice.

"I'm going to do a one-hour special. Everyone is going to hear everything for themselves," Lohan told us. "They're going to hear everything Dina has to say."

Lohan is taking action after Lindsay and gal pal Samantha Ronson lashed out at him on their Celebrity MySpace blogs, calling him a "public embarrassment and a bully" for dubbing Ronson a "drug" and saying the DJ is writing a tell-all on Lindsay.

But, he said, it was Dina who told him of Ronson's plan to pen the tome — and he has proof, which he will share publicly.

"I have it all on tape — all recorded, time and date-stamped," he said. "You will hear it all. I have 101 text messages between Lindsay and I, and I have about 60 tape recordings of Dina."

Because of contractual agreements, Lohan cannot specify the name of the special or on what network it will air, but insisted it is "definitely" happening.

"It might be broken up into parts, but it's going to be done," he said. "These lies have to stop. She can't say all these things to me and when I try to address it, deny everything. Dina's a hypocrite and I'm tired of it."

Yeah, so DMX is in jail and the judge denied his bond and said the hearing is October 3rd. DMX then mumbled something like "I ain't coming back on October 3rd. F-word." and walks away. Of course that made the judge mad and he used words like "ingratiated" which comes from the root word ingratiate.

I had no idea she was so nutty until I read that blog. I knew she was out there I suppose, but that blog is like a train-wreck. She later said some stuff about she wasn't attacking Angelina, but rather Angelina's perceptual media image. Something like that anyway. The bottom line is that Rosanne seems to really hate everything and everyone. People like that bore me because they make it seem like they know everything and everyone else is so stupid not to see it.

She also mentions "the republican party's worldwide economic assault on africa over the last few decades since reagan" which surprised me because I wasn't aware that Bill Clinton's two terms in office (1993-2001) counted as Republican time. Interesting.

Amy Winehouse did a performance at the V Festival in England this weekend  and surprise, surprise...fans left the the place while she mumbled lyrics, looked all dirty and grimy, and forgot some words completely. The standard for her really...

Her stuttering performance saw hordes of fan stream away from the main stage.

She told the crowd: 'You're a really nuts crowd. I'm not on drugs, honest.

'So boo you guys for yesterday.'

Gone was the dank hair, listless eyes, worn skin - and boos from the crowd. Instead fans were treated to a vibrant performance.

Just 24 hours earlier, she had been sallow-faced and grubby with dark smears of make-up around her eye.
She coughed and spluttered her way through the set, forgetting the words to Back to Black and mumbling to herself between songs.

The 24-year-old dedicated Wake Up Alone to husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is serving a 27-month prison sentence, which prompted a smattering of boos from the crowd.

I guess she got things better the second day when someone obviously gave her a bath and smacked her in the head a bit. Personally, if you're going to pay for one of her concerts after knowing her history then you deserve a mumbling wreck of a time.
