Remember when Britney Spears took off to Mexico with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib? (Here's the details) The New York Daily News has a sneak peek at the newest issue of Star Magazine coming out that claims Britney married Adnan during the one day trip .

The glossy says she "secretly wed" lens-lizard Adnan Ghalib during the visit - which is legally meaningless, as he has not yet divorced his previous wife, AzLynn Berry.

Star ed Candace Trunzo tells me: "Our source on this was not in Rosarito Beach at the ceremony, but is very familiar with the fact that [wedding] documents exist."

More interestingly, the mag says Spears gave Ghalib $250,000 to grease AzLynn's exit. She allegedly told her lawyers, who had imposed a grand-a-day spending limit, that she needed the cash for a new Mercedes.

I just don't get it, but then Britney is nuts. Trying to understand what's in her head is like trying to figure out the Colonel's secret to fried chicken at KFC. It can't be done people! I just also realized that this could mean Patrice might officially be done with Britney for good. Stay tuned.

Now it seems a fight is on. Britney Spears "friend" Sam Lutfi is now trying to keep the paparazzi and part-time boyfriend Adnan Ghalib away from Britney. Adnan doesn't seem to be going quietly though, so it's a showdown of the gold-diggers. Last night Britney and Lutfi had a fight and she jumped out of the Escalade and ended up sitting on the curb, bawling her eyes out. She then called Adnan for a ride and went into her house.

He tried to punch in the security code to the gate, but it didn't work. He then reportedly called the house but Britney didn't answer.

The joke's on you sucker because Lutfi changed the codes when you weren't looking. Not only that, he had all 6 of her cell phones disconnected and her home phone. As a side note, why would she need a ride if she's already home?

Frustrated, Adnan then asked the security guard let him in, but the guard told him he was under strict instructions from Sam not to let Adnan past the gate.

According to sources at the scene, Adnan became irate and angrily approached the guard. He later told a paparazzi photographer that Sam was sending him threatening text messages, calling him a "manic trigger" and telling him, "If you continue to have any contact with her, you'll kill her. "

Eventually though, Britney went speeding out of her place and met up with Adnan later and jumped his bones into his car. I'm hoping they get out a nice wooden box with dueling pistols and do the 30 pace walk on the front lawn. Now that would be cool!

Britney Spear's paparazzi (ex-)boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib did an interview with Entertainment Tonight setting the record straight on a few issues. He said the relationship is "far from over" and when asked if he wanted to marry her he said, "I'd be lying if I said no."

On her hospitalization following a Jan. 3 standoff with police: "She didn't understand why she was taken to the hospital," he said. "She didn't feel the need to be there." As for the photographs of Spears laughing as she was wheeled out on a gurney, "I think she was just afraid of what was going to happen. It doesn't mean you are crazy."

On Spears being photographed buying a pregnancy test: "She has a very maternal instinct," Ghalib said of their recent Rite Aid run. (Photos of the trip were sold by his own photo agency, FinalPixx.) "She was feeling a lot of things she said she felt when she was pregnant. I think she was hoping she was pregnant with my child."

On losing visitation rights with her kids Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1: "Her primary focus is on re-establishing a relationship with [them]," he said. "She doesn't talk about a strategy to get them back. That's something that's very private to her. She loves those kids - it pains her a lot "

On Britney's mental state: "She is not crazy at all," he said, despite reports claiming that she is bipolar and has suffered from postpartum depression. (Some have even suggested she may have multiple personalities.) He also dismissed talk that Spears wrote a suicide note before her January meltdown. "She never has suicidal tendencies," he said. "You've got to understand the love she has for her kids outweighs anything else."

Oh for crying out loud! This back and forth is so stupid. Anyway, Britney Spears is supposedly back on with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. According to OK! magazine and not only that, she's opting to take a psychiatric evaluation for her child custody case.

Brit has refused several times in the past to an evaluation, and is agreeing only on the grounds that she be allowed to visit with her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, during the evaluation. Brit is reportedly asking that the visitation be court-supervised and that it take place in a "therapeutic environment."

Damn this is the best yet. Of course let this whole video load, because the first part is nothing good at all. At 2:07 is when the real fun starts. Britney Spears has an entire conversation in her "BritBrit" personality with the full blown British accent and everything. She talks to the photographers a lot and then when asked point blank about Adnan Ghalib, she claims so doesn't even know who that is and she's never met him. C-r-a-z-y!

One dude did ask her what part of Britain she's from (which was hilarious) and she only looked annoyed and shook her head.

So supposedly Britney Spears was not with paparazzi dude Adnan Ghalib all weekend and her other guy-pal Sam Lufti has been spreading the word that she took some sort of legal action to keep Adnan away.  I'm not sure why she couldn't just avoid him like she avoided all those court dates. That seemed to work pretty  well.

Anyway, now Adnoid has made a statement on his company's blog (which suxx btw).

Adnan: All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning.
The reason being, that I have had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.
