The FBI agents confiscated a bunch of Raffaello Follieri's stuff when they raided his things, including his ex-girlfriend Anne Hathaway's private journals. Not only that, supposedly they also have some nude pictures of her that Raffaello took or had taken.

According to the Enquirer, Follieri had reportedly taken several nude photos of Hathaway, Gawker writes. The piece de resistance of which is a prized and “sizzling” photo of her in black fishnet stockings, a garter belt and bustier that completely exposes her top portion. Follieri is believed to have paid a famous photographer to take that picture.

Hathaway’s brother tried to recover the pictures from a storage unit, only to find out that the FBI had beaten him to it the day before, according to Gawker.

I'm not sure if she's worried, but I don't think a little scandal like this would hurt her in the slightest.

I simply must start posting certain things I think about. When Anne Hathaway dumped her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri and then he was arrested the following week for financial fraud, I knew it was just too convenient. I figured she either was tipped of or she told on him. Either way, she knew it was coming. It turns out that Anne was probably the "Deep Throat" in this sting operation. Nice thought...

A pal of jailed wheeler-dealer Raffaello Follieri suspects the starlet spoke with the FBI shortly before they arrested her ex for an alleged $6 million con job.

"It makes sense," the friend said. "She's referred to as his former girlfriend in the indictment even though her spokesman never confirmed they broke up."

Hathaway, who is not identified by name in the criminal complaint, split with Follieri shortly before his arrest last week. He is charged with posing as an agent of the Vatican to fleece investors out of millions.

"I think that in return for her cooperation, the feds held off on arresting Follieri until she was out of the country," the friend said.

Hathaway's camp has declined to comment on Follieri's legal troubles. The Italian businessman faces up to 20 years in federal prison if he's convicted of wire-fraud and money-laundering charges.

I love how this "friend" is so concerned with placing blame and he's identified Anne as the cause his buddy is in jail. How about the fact that Raffaello screwed people out of money? Gee, could that be a reason he's in jail? What a dork. Meanwhile...I heart Anne Hathaway. I hope she did tell on the guy. Ha!

The news was surprising when Anne Hathaway dumped her boyfriend of four-years, Raffello Follieri or as I call him...Captain Douchebag. He had a few "shady" things going on around him and it was better if Anne's reputation wasn't damaged. Surprisingly, he was just arrested for fraud by U.S. authorities. Actually it's a list of charges.

The Italian businessman was charged with conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering for spearheading a faux real estate project he claimed to be linked to the Catholic Church.

He is expected to appear at the U.S. District Court in Manhattan later today.

"It's a little premature at this time. I am hopeful we will be able to resolve everything," his rep says in a statement.

Raffaello lied to investors that his firm, the Follieri Group LLC, was aiding the Vatican in divesting unwanted U.S. real estate properties, going as far as to claim he was appointed financial manager at the Vatican and had met with the Pope.

In reality, the only thing the 29-year-old and his cohorts were investing in were their extravagant lifestyle, doling out the millions for high-end clothes, expensive meals and other services, according to the filed criminal complaint.

So she breaks up with the guy and like a week or two later BAM! he's arrested. She must have a sixth-sense or something. I had better stop thinking dirty thoughts about her. Oops.

UPDATE: His bail is set at $21 Million. Damn! Federal prosecutors say they have "overwhelming" evidence that he spent spent up to $6 million of his investors money on things like restaurants, clothes, private jets , and a NYC apartment for $36,000+ per month.

I'm sad about Anne Hathaway because she's down in the dumps over her break-up with Rafaello Follieri. He's the guy that has some shady financial dealing happening and she eventually got worried it might hurt her reputation.

"My personality is very kind of, you know, girlish, bubbly," she said on a pre-taped episode of The View that aired Thursday. "Not today...I'm kind of somber today."

"Mood swings?" asked Joy Behar.

Replied Hathaway, 25: "Let's not go there."

On Wednesday, a source told Usmagazine.com that she had dumped her longtime beau, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri.

"Yes, they're taking a break," an insider told Us. "All the shady stuff was too much."

The Daily Mail of London had reported that Hathaway (who walked Monday's Get Smart premiere solo) feared that his recent legal woes could hurt her career.

Follieri, 29, is under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's office for failing to file tax-disclosure forms for his charity, the Follieri Foundation."

With all the legal stuff happening, it's a good thing she did dump the guy because he's totally guilty. He's Italian, right? You ever watch television? Italian guys are always involved in illegal stuff and if you try and rat them out, then they fit you with cement shoes. Mark my words, it's a good think she got out while she could.

Just earlier today I was mentioning that Anne Hathaway was quite an attractive woman (in one of my favorite older photos above) and now it seems she also single as of this weekend. That's because her Italian boyfriend of 4-years has some shady stuff going on with his money and so she dumped him.

A source said: 'It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation.'

Despite their split, it remains to be seen if the separation is permanent.

The couple were reported to have split briefly this year after Follieri was sued by a former business associate for bouncing a  $215,000 cheque.

Not only that, it turns out that he might have been womanizing too. I know, an Italian guy flirting with other women seems crazy, right?

Follieri often visited Hathaway on the Boston set of her upcoming movie Bride Wars, but they were regularly spotted arguing by crew members.

A friend said: 'They fought so much while Anne was making the movie, she genuinely started to wonder if the relationship was worth all the pain.'

Hathaway also heard rumours from her friends in New York that the businessman had been flirting with other women while she was away filming.

The friend added: 'Raffaello would only ever visit her on sets for short periods of time.

'He was very caught up in his social life and making connections in New York, and stories would get back to Anne about his late nights and carousing, usually with models in the immediate vicinity.'

Oh, also...Anne Hathaway would totally be nailing Steve Carell if he was free. I kid you not.

A pal said: 'She seemed to really be enjoying her freedom, and making new friends in L.A., especially Steve.

'Anne really wants to find a guy like Steve, and if he weren't married, I have no doubt she would date him in a second.

'She's such a fan of his work she couldn't help but quote episodes of 'The Office' to him when they first met. She thinks he's amazing.SourceSource
