Last season's American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis did an interview with US magazine regarding his new album coming out and he poked a little jab directly at Ms. Spears.

Us: J.R. Rotem assisted in the production of your record. Did he offer any good Britney gossip during your recording sessions?
BL: Oh, totally! [J.R. and Britney are] both loco! But the song I did with him, "What’cha Got 2 Lose?" was one of my favorites on the album for sure.

Us: Have you purchased the new Britney album?
BL: Hell no! I’ve heard a couple good songs, but it’s always ‘not that bad’ when you have, like, $5 million to make an album. [Laughs]

Just by checking the album sales, Britney's album Blackout sales dropped sharply after selling about 430,000 copies worldwide. That's 50,000 less then the population of Luxemberg, which is only 2586 sq km (998 sq mi) in size and is ranked 175th of all the 194 independent countries of the world. The largest 4 countries are Russia, Canada, China, and the United States.

By comparison, it seems like most of the world said "Hell no!"

Remember Antonella Barba the American Idol hottie that had a scandal with various photos on the web? Well, the rumor is that she may be dating Blake Lewis.

According to people magazine's behind the scenes look at the show - ousted contestant Antonella Barba returned to the Idol arena – and proved to be an unusually reserved audience member, staying put in her seat (right behind Simon Cowell's mother) for most of the show.

Still, Blake Lewis managed to catch her eye at the end of the night and blew her a kiss. She promptly returned the favor and he "caught" the airborne smooch and held it close to his chest. Is it an American idol love connection?
