Yeah, so DMX is in jail and the judge denied his bond and said the hearing is October 3rd. DMX then mumbled something like "I ain't coming back on October 3rd. F-word." and walks away. Of course that made the judge mad and he used words like "ingratiated" which comes from the root word ingratiate.

Yeah, so DMX pretty much did none of those things so he's going to keep the shiny bracelets on and stay in jail where he might have to ingratiate himself to someone named Bubba

Once again, rapper/actor DMX was arrested at an Arizona Wal-Mart because of a failure to appear for a court hearing regarding his animal-cruelty and drug-possession charges. Oh yeah, and it sounds like DMX is broke.

The lawyer wouldn't comment on reports that DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is in rehab, although he did say that the Cradle 2 the Grave star's camp is "working towards getting him some help, and we hope that will be taken seriously by all parties in this case."

Also asked why a man of DMX's presumed financial stature needs a public defender (the whole "if you can't afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you" part of the Miranda Rights), Kozelka would only say: "He qualified for us, and he feels comfortable with me."

At the time, Kozelka was still hoping that his client could avoid yet another smear on his rap sheet.

"We are in court again next week on other matters, and my hope is we can get the warrant resolved by then and get back on track," he said. "We have some things in the works to get the warrant taken care of. My hope is that we can resolve it without an arrest, but he's been arrested at the airport before, so they obviously have an eye out for him, so I'm not sure."

He qualified for a Public Defender? Seriously? I guess that what drugs and crime will do to you. It will take all your money away and keep you down. Of course then you blame "the man" and go out and do more crime to get more drugs. It's the circle of life, urban edition. Let's see Disney make that into a movie.
