I hate it when the neighbor's dog comes to my yard and craps on the lawn. It makes me want to give them a flaming poo-bag on their doorstep. It seems that Dane Cook is one of those crappy neighbors.

Cook is at war with the owners of the West Hollywood apartment complex where he lives for not picking up after his dog, Beast. "Neither he nor his girl friend pick up after the dog," said a source. "They've sent him three notices so far over the last year warning him he'll be evicted, and they have video. The neighbors all hate him." The landlord has now filed a complaint in court.

Dane Cook or Captain Joke Thief was labeled "The Unfunniest Comic" on a radio contest in his own hometown of Boston. He had competition like Carlos Mencia, Jay Leno, Paula Poundstone and Jeff Foxworthy and he beat them all. Or is that he beaty-beat them? Whatever.

"We were talking about how people laugh out loud at nonsense and Dane is a good example of that," Toucher told Page Six. "We'd listen to him and at the end of four minutes he'd change subjects, and that was it. We couldn't figure out when the joke was.

"And he's actually hated. People don't hate others they way they do him. At least Foxworthy panders to rednecks. Dane's stories are so weak you wouldn't want to hear them over lunch."

Cook, 36, has been accused of stealing jokes by Louis CK, Demetri Martin, Joe Rogan and others. And the big-headed comic is also known for his huge ego and his diva-like demands.

The star of such movie stinkers as "Employee of the Month" and "Good Luck Chuck" allegedly was also once tossed out of Smith & Wollensky steak house because he was so difficult. "His assistant ordered for him. He got a steak and sent it back three times," said one employee. "The chef was furious. Eventually we told him enough is enough."

Dane Cook recently told MTV that he wants to do some action movies. I bet that if he does one, it will have great lines like "I'll be back" and "Make my day" in them. Those lines have been taken already you say? Yeah, well so have some of the jokes that Dane Crook tells in his routines. That's never stopped him before.

Believe it, Cook teased, saying he's getting ready to give the Superfinger to crime in "Dead Already," a buddy cop movie "in the vein of ‘Lethal Weapon.'"

"It's got a really interesting take-off from the typical buddy cop movie which has been done in so many ways. This definitely had an element that was like, ‘Wow, I've never seen that before,'" he said of the script, which he's currently looking at as a starring vehicle. "You got some crazy stunts and action sequences, but you got some comedy in there too. We'll see if we can get it off the ground, but I certainly would like to play in that area."

Stunts, action, and humor? I think he's right! I've never seen that stuff in a movie before. That is an interesting angle.

"I just watched ‘Lethal Weapon' the other day and it's like, if you watch that movie now it's incredible how it goes from being really funny and silly to really tragic. There's some wild stuff in there," Cook said of the film's tone, one he wants to strike with "Dead Already." "I forgot how many scenes in this movie are dealing with suicide and all kinds of insane, heavy topics. Then all of a sudden he's being wacky and doing Three Stooges. I haven't seen anything like that in an action movie since. I'd love to see or be a part of a movie that pulls that off again."

Wait...what? You want to do heavy topics than shift to being wacky in a movie that "pulls that off again?" Is he saying that he saw someone's stuff and he wants to do a version of that? That would be like stealing wouldn't it? Like for example, you hear a joke...let say it's about getting new shoes, only you change it to getting new boots and then use it. That's like stealing, right? Maybe I don't understand this show business thing...

I think I'm going to order some Keith Malley DVDs and then I could become a comic too. I didn't know it was so easy!

The world can rest easy now. The magnificent Dane Cook *joke thief cough cough* has stated that Jessica Alba will make and excellent mother. Phew! We can all relax now.

On whether Jess will be a good mom, the actor had nothing but kind words for his former leading lady. "She'll be fantastic. She's so compassionate and very attentive," Dane tells OK!. "Some people you kind of feel like they're meant for that, and she's one of those people that just has those nurturing qualities."

Cook goes on to say he and Jessica clicked from the start. He tells OK! it only took an hour of talking before he felt, "That's the girl I want for the movie. She's really wonderful."

Now am I reading this right in that Dane is taking credit for getting Jessica the job? That's the girl HE wanted? WTF? She's not the best actress in the world, but her career is 100 times bigger then his. Him dissing the Alba like that is just so wrong. In fact it's wrongy-wrong!

Jesus! I admit...I was a sucker when I first heard of Dane Cook and listened to his stuff. My opinion changed and now he really bugs me. Now he thinks he can sing too? I thought the goal of success is to do one thing well, not to do three things kind of half-assed.
