Supposedly Jennifer Aniston's friends got mad at John Mayer for telling people on the weekend that he ended things. I guess we're back to her side again on this one. I'm starting to lose track frankly. So this expert claims that John is just trying to make himself feel better.

"He's acting like a spoiled child," an Aniston pal snipped to MSNBC's Courtney Hazlett. "Expect Jen to behave like a lady." (Incidentally, the source adds, "it's she who ended the relationship.")

So what made Mayer dish about the dumping?

"It's a pride and ego thing," Lee Kane, author of How to Be a Professional Bachelor, tells Usmagazine.com. "I think it makes him temporarily feel better. He's either hurt or has gotten hurt - otherwise he wouldn't have gone out of his way in talking to the media."

Yeah, so guess what? The guy is a seriel dater. He's spoken publically about sex with Jennifer Love Hewitt and mentioned things about Jessica Simpson before, so why is anyone suprised about this?

So after we heard that she was sort of clingy and he dumped her and then he was basically a wandering sex machine and she dumped him, John Mayer spoke out to OK! about the whole break-up with Jennifer Aniston and managed to clearly get in that he did indeed dump her. This is starting to seem like a tennis match.

"It's the most normal thing in the world," John says. "There's no lying there's no cheating. There's no nothing."

John also had nothing but the kindest words for his ex. "Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I've ever met," he explained. "She's one of the most lovely people I've ever met in my life."

So what went wrong? "People have different chemistry, they have different lives," says John. "It's not about years, it's about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out. You're either a cheater or you break up and I'm not the first, I'm the second. And that's it. There's no lying, there's no bullsh**."

And according to John, it was him that called a halt to their romance. "I ended a relationship because there was no lying," he explained to OK!. "I ended a relationship to be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right. I don't waste people's time. I don't do the taper. I guarantee you there's 20 percent of the people on the street right now who are in a relationship they wish they could get out of but they don't know how. And I'm going to be honest on the way in to my relationships and I'm going to be honest on the way out of my relationships."Source

Man, that's hard core right there. He just basically said that he's out to bang chicks and then dump them because he doesn't want to get serious. The fact that he's nailed some of the top names in Hollywood means he certainly walks the talk. Any questions? Oh yeah, and just one more thing.

As for the news that Jen has already moved on and begun seeing another man, John shrugged, "I don't care."

Okay, so yesterday the news came out that Jennifer Aniston was clingy and got dumped. That was clearly his side of the relationship. Now today her side comes out that John Mayer just couldn't keep it in his pants and that it randomly kept interacting with other women.

It was "Jen who decided to move on," says the friend. "She is very fond of John and has thought he might be the one. She finds him funny, sexy and very talented. ... Plus he understands all the aspects of living in a fishbowl. But in the final analysis, she just got tired of his roving eye."

A vivid example can be seen in the new Us Weekly (hitting newsstands this week), which has photos of the singer frolicking in a hot tub in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on a trip without Aniston.

Apparently, Aniston gave Mayer a "three strikes and you're out" ultimatum -- after learning about his "quickie" flings with a cocktail waitress and a promoter's assistant for his concert tour.

That was two strikes. Another dalliance, with a groupie, was the final straw for Aniston.

A longtime major Hollywood studio exec -- and good Aniston buddy -- adds this: "Above everything else, Jennifer is looking for stability and loyalty in a relationship. She still is hurting from losing Brad [Pitt] to Angelina [Jolie] -- even after all this time."

They were supposedly going to get married, have kids and live the fairy tale according to last weeks rumors. Turns out the complete opposite happened.

Unlucky-in-love Jennifer Aniston has been dumped by her latest boyfriend, rock singer John Mayer.

The pair initially decided to spend some time apart... before making the break official earlier this week.

It is yet more heartache for the gorgeous Friends star, who has been unable to find love again since her divorce from Brad Pitt four years ago.

News of her splitting up with Gravity singer John comes just weeks after the couple were rumoured to be considering marriage.

"There's been a bit of tension for some time," says a source close to 30-year-old John. "They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked.

"John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.

"Contrary to reports, Jen didn't want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.

"She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children.

"Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she's simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken.

Just days after his serious car-crash and surgery,  news has come out that Morgan Freeman is getting a divorce after 23 years of marriage to Myrna Colley-Lee.

Mississippi-based attorney Bill Luckett tells Access Hollywood the couple "are involved in a divorce action."

Luckett adds that "for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007."

OK! claims Aniston, 39, is planning a low-key wedding with John Mayer this fall. The tabloid also offers up elaborate details: She will wear a Vera Wang dress, there will orchids everywhere and they will serve champagne and caviar. "She’s at an age where she is thinking with her head not just her heart,” OK! quotes a source as saying.

But her rep tells Usmagazine.com: "She is not getting married."

Meanwhile, Star claims in its latest issue that she is going to have Mayer's baby "as Brad and Angie's twins wow the world."

Says Aniston's rep: "Both headlines are complete fabrications."

So there you have it. I never believe that stuff anyway and repeating might just jinx their whole relationship and that's not cool.

Patrick Swayze seems to be really doing well after the announcement sometime back that he has cancer.

"Patrick looked healthy. He's put on weight," a fellow patron reports. "Around 3 a.m., Patrick raised his glass for a toast with a group of friends, and then everyone did a shot."
