Well at the moment, according to TMZ it's just Kevin Federline who's there for the court appearance, but rumors are that Britney Spears is there somewhere.

He is wearing a blue suit, white shirt and (wait for it) a patch on his right eye. AND he's wearing sunglasses. Not kidding.

Update: so Britney was a no-show it seems and K-Fed will probably be in good shape.

Kevin Federline will retain custody of his children and Britney will get monitored visitation -- this after a court hearing lasting nearly three hours.

MSNBC is reporting that after all the crap Britney Spears has been pulling lately, Kevin Federline might just be gearing for a custody fight. Especially after the trainwreck of an interview she gave OK magazine.

Now I've been saying for some time now that Kevin actually turned out to be the sane one of the pair and after seeing the things Britany is doing, it's just a matter of time until she snaps.

Spears was recently spotted driving with her younger son Jayden facing forward in his car seat, not backward as federal guidelines require. And earlier this month, he was photographed grabbing his mother’s cigarettes. On July 18, she stripped to her skivvies on a beach in front of photographers and reports of bizarre behavior at an OK! magazine shoot have friends seriously worried about the Toxic singer. Spears wants K-Fed to sign a joint custody agreement, but he’s reportedly refused.

“Kevin is convinced she’s not fit to raise the kids,” an insider told the mag. “He’s done tolerating her behavior and is gearing up to fight for full custody.”

Rumors also say that Brit's cousin and her mom both went to Kevin and spilled some secrets about her bahavior. Tick-tock, tick-tock.

The National Enquirer is reporting that K-Fed (Kevin Federline) is smitten with Los Angeles Hip-Hop radio personality, Liz Hernandez. The two first met 18-months ago on her radio show when Liz, during which she asked him who was better in bed, Britney or Shar? Ouch!

The Enquirer source said, “Liz is trying to keep [the romance] quiet because she doesn’t want it to get around work, but Kevin can’t help but brag about his conquest to his friends and family. He has tons of modeling pictures of Liz in his home. She likes to cook, and Kevin loves that because he always did the cooking for both Shar and Britney,” says the source, who adds that Hernandez thinks Federline's two children by Spears are “adorable.”

What I've read about Liz tells me she's going to stay with him. Her interview with Lowrider magazine said:

Most of the time, the entertainment news and on-the-scene red carpet movie premiers are brought to the listening audience live as it happens by Liz. She says that she has met big stars like Mel Gibson, Halle Berry and Mariah Carey. Liz admits that she still becomes "star-struck" from time to time, like when she was attending a red carpet ceremony and one of her favorite celebrities, Dr. Dre, walked up to her and said, "What's up, Liz?" Liz couldn't believe that he remembered her name months after she did her brief interview with him!

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are close to finalizing the details of their divorce (which I thought had been completed - Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are finally done). It seems now that Federline is going to receive about $13 million plus $50,000 per month in child support.

This is substantially more than previously thought, due to Britney's legendary "iron clad" pre-nup.

"Do you really want to do this?" Spears asked K-Fed as the two met to discuss final details of their divorce, reports to the upcoming issue of the tab.

K-Fed said yes, and his estranged wife replied, "You’re the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, but thank you for my babies."

That's always nice isn't it?

Some of the details of the divorce settlement (according to MSNBC) are:

• A 2004 pre-nup called for K-Fed to get $250,000 for each year of their marriage, but Spears upped that figure to $500,000 to speed up the negotiations.
• He receives half the proceeds from their Malibu mansion, which is on the market for $13.5 million.
• $25,000 a month in child support for each of the couple's two children until they reach 18. He also gets custody of the boys four days a week.
• Federline gets to keep all the gifts Spears bought them during their marriage.
• He's forbidden from writing a tell-all about their marriage.

That's not bad since his Ferrari was a gift, right? I guess maybe he gets that back now.

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have finalized the divorce and it's all done

"The parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children," said Michael Sands, a spokesman for Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Sources say Kevin will walk away with US$1million and will share custody of sons SEAN PRESTON and JAYDEN JAMES, although the kids will continue to live with Britney.

So, Britney Spears was once the hottest pop star and a pretty major sex symbol and this backup dancer got to sleep with her and spent lots of her money. Then she becomes crazy, stacks on the pounds, and shaves her head bald and he gets a million dollars. He doesn't really have to be a full time father (with either of his baby mommas) and the story ends?

He's either amazingly lucky or incredibly smart. I can't decide anymore.

Until the custody agreement is all finalized and done, Kevin Federline gets to keep custody of his children with Britany Spears. Britney just completed 30 days at the Promises rehab facility in the hopes of changing the outcome, but that didn't happen (she didn't even stay a full 30 days by the way).

Spears, 25, now has custodial visitation of 18-month-old Sean Preston and 6-month-old Jayden James, and will be granted more custody rights over her children as she proves that she can maintain a stable lifestyle.

"They are not going to return custody to Britney as a reward for doing her stint in rehab. Kevin's had the children for six weeks and he will continue to have full custody."

The source adds: "Britney has to really demonstrate she can retain sobriety. She was just introduced into a sober lifestyle. Can she maintain it?"

Man, I remember just a bit back when everyone (me included) couldn't stand the guy and thought he was a loser. Now I'm kinda pulling for him. Crazy!
