This is the lastest in the bizzare tale of Britney Spears.

Britney Spears abused cocaine and prescription drugs and nearly had a fatal overdose of pure ecstasy, her first husband claims in an interview.

Childhood pal Jason Alexander, who was married to Spears for 55 hours in 2004, claims he's breaking his silence about the plummeting pop princess' drug use because he doesn't want her to end up dead like Anna Nicole Smith.

And some of the big shockers regarding sex, drugs, and more drugs.

Alexander, who claims he once had a drug-fueled threesome with Spears and a female dancer, said that in their short relationship he had trouble keeping up with her drug use.

"We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake," Alexander said. "Then we would take downers like Valium or Vicodin to come down and rest.

"She definitely had a problem with drugs when we were together and that was three years ago."

He claims Spears almost had a fatal overdose on "MDMA," or pure ecstasy, while they partied in a Las Vegas club. He said he sneaked her up to their hotel suite and she was sweating and having problems breathing.

"I took her into the bathroom and threw her in the shower," Alexander said. "She was unconscious. She tripped and fell. I was trying to hold her up and speak to her. She wasn't moving.

"I remember looking down at her all crumpled in the tub with the water coming down. She looked so white and lifeless. I thought she was dead. I thought, 'This bitch is going to f--king die right here in front of me.'"

Now either it's all true or he's just seeking the limelight again. It's probably 50/50.

TMZ says that Keven Federline's "close peeps" are saying that Britney Spears is calling him a lot late at night to win him back. Other sources seem to be saying it's all about the kids and has nothing to do with getting back together.

According to these sources, the reports that Britney will ante up $25 mil to K-Fed to end their marriage are ridiculous. One connected source says the $25 million figure is grossly inflated, "by 25 times." In other words, the bad news is that K-Fed will be a millionaire. The good news -- just barely.

I have to rate this in the following way:
K-Fed: 1 (for his funny Nationwide commercial)
Britney: -1 (loss of 2 for going out again to Target looking all ratty and having some type of stain all over her left sleeve)

Winner...K-Fed. (did I say that?)

Seriously though...his "close peeps"? Ahahahaha! Right! I doubt she is really begging unless he took her favorite crappy sweatshirt.

This of course prompted an office discussion of Kevin Federline and Britney Spears with her new boyfriend issues. Most of the conversation was about Brit getting a new boyfriend (as reported in the tabloids) and how they broke up only 2 days later.

The most biting comment was "She's like that dirty tramp at a party. Everyone wants to have sex with her, but nobody wants it KNOWN they had sex with her."

According to Life & Style magazine, Kevin Federline is demanding $50 million dollars in exchange for full custody of his kids with Britney Spears. He laughed the $1 million offer and he turned down the $10 million offer in December, but $50 million? Sold!

Oh yeah, Kevin Federline was trying to land Lindsey Lohan according to Us Online. He hit her with the text message that every girl dreams of "We should hang out."

"She was totally grossed out," a Lohan pal tells Us.

Says another, "She thought it was hilarious."

However, Federline didn't appreciate Lohan's "Why would I hang out with you?" reply.

He fired back, calling her a "firecrotch."

Says the source, "She couldn't believe he was so pathetic. She doesn't want him using her to make Britney jealous."

Kevin Federline has now been fired as the spokesperson for Five Star Vintage clothing. They thought he was a rebel and the perfect person to be the face for thier goods.

A source confirmed to TMZ that Federline's contract was allowed to conveniently expire -- and it seems like his image may have completely tanked the brand -- the company's official website no longer exists.
