I love how people can be so stupid sometimes. Every now and then I do something dumb (I know...can you believe it?) and then I straighten out. Case in point here is Michael Lohan who spoke in public about daughter Lindsay Lohan and her business. That got a very angry response from her (and Samantha Ronson) about him being a jerk and speaking in public.

Hmmm, how could he make this matter better? I know! Speak about it in public again! What a tool.

"Who's out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break," he told ABCNews.com. "Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins ... She's gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who's out of control?

"I go to church," he continued. "I go and help people in rehab. That's control. How can she say I'm out of control?"

Not only that...

"I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay ... Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life," Michael said. "That's what Dina told me. I'm reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy."

"Dina's a two-face," he continued. "She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay's good side instead of being a good parent. I don't give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she's going to turn around to me and tell me, 'Daddy, you were right.'"

Here's some advice idiot. Stop worrying about who looks like the good guy and just stop talking to the public. You should be talking to your kid and not having a fight with her via MySpace.

Oh yeah, and he's also getting a one-hour television special where he's going to expose the whole family to more crap. Nice.

"I'm going to do a one-hour special. Everyone is going to hear everything for themselves," Lohan told us. "They're going to hear everything Dina has to say."

Lohan is taking action after Lindsay and gal pal Samantha Ronson lashed out at him on their Celebrity MySpace blogs, calling him a "public embarrassment and a bully" for dubbing Ronson a "drug" and saying the DJ is writing a tell-all on Lindsay.

But, he said, it was Dina who told him of Ronson's plan to pen the tome — and he has proof, which he will share publicly.

"I have it all on tape — all recorded, time and date-stamped," he said. "You will hear it all. I have 101 text messages between Lindsay and I, and I have about 60 tape recordings of Dina."

Because of contractual agreements, Lohan cannot specify the name of the special or on what network it will air, but insisted it is "definitely" happening.

"It might be broken up into parts, but it's going to be done," he said. "These lies have to stop. She can't say all these things to me and when I try to address it, deny everything. Dina's a hypocrite and I'm tired of it."

Both Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson blogged on their MySpace  after Michael Lohan got all pissy about the fact that Samantha is going to be writing a book.

"I've shut up about this long enough," Michael said. "She's using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she's writing a book? I am at wit's end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay's best interest."

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that's what i have believed my whole life- don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going...

If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

I'm not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on...

I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

Then Samantha got into the fray, but she was more angry and short about it. That just confirms my suspicion that she's the man in the relationship. Not that there is one or anything. I'm just trying to figure out how that all works is all.

i really don't want to say anything because i feel like he wins- he, being the man who is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible- i know i am being used, i am just a pawn- easy to sacrifice in order to feed his addiction. I was angry when i first read his attack on me, but- for me- i believe that actions speak louder than words... so now i just pity him- i am not standing in his way- i am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter- he is- his need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is- i am not going to go into a play by play defense- i feel no need to publicly defend my role in lindsay's life- i'm just sorry that she likes me more than him.

p.s. i'm not the one that is so lost that i need to use my relationship with lindsay to earn a living.... i am, always will and always have been here for her for her- not for anything else....so I think it's safe to say that there is not now and never will be a tell all..... written by me..... when does your book come out mr. lohan?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's oldest boy Maddox showed off a cool blue mohawk hanging out with his dad in Venice, Italy. Damn! I wish I was allowed to have hair like that when I was a kid. Talk about cool parents.

Pitt, 44, is in town for Venice Film Festival, where he will premiere his new Coen Brothers crime comedy, Burn After Reading, on Wednesday.

Along with George Clooney, Pitt is also expected to attend a fundraiser Tuesday night for their charity, Not On Our Watch, which aids victims in the Darfur region of Sudan and the cyclone in Myanma, the AP reports.

Kid Rock is keeping out of politics and he thinks other entertainers should do the same. I like his views on this one, but how could he not believe in Oprah? She's totally real just like Santa Claus.

Of the celebs who haven't taken the same approach, Rock says, "I think celebrity endorsements hurt politicians. As soon as somebody comes out for a politician, especially in Hollywood, when they all go, 'I'm voting for this guy!' – I go, 'That's not who I'm voting for!' "

Case in point, he suggests, "As soon as Oprah Winfrey pops up and goes 'Ha-la-la-la-la,' I'm like, 'I love Barack Obama. I hate Oprah Winfrey.' "

Michael Lohan's secret daughter was recently located and now Lindsay is all set to get herself a new step-mom. I totally think he's getting married for the publicity though.

"Michael recently proposed to his girlfriend Erin Muller," the source reveals to OK!. "But they're keeping it quiet for the moment."

The pair may not be saying anything out loud, but the ring Erin was flashing last weekend at the Mercedez-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Tournament was screaming, "we're engaged!"

Rihanna and Chris Brown seem to be an item and the rumor is that they might soon be living together in sin.

According to an insider, the "Don't Stop the Music" singer, has been searching for a condo in the Los Angeles area since early July to share with Chris and has checked out units in Beverly Hills' Sierra Tower. Rihanna's so serious about finding them a new home that she has new listings e-mailed to her even when she's out of town.

"She and Chris want to live together," says the insider. "They play their music loud though, so they want a condo that's soundproof.

Remember when I mentioned how Michael Lohan was already planning to exploit his former secret love child? Here, I'll remind you. The kid's name is Ashley Kaufmann and supposedly she's hoping for a record deal.

A record-industry insider says, "Ashley has more talent than Lindsay or Ali."

A Lohan family source adds, "Ashley's singing ability just proves that the family talent comes from Michael (Lohan), not Dina Lohan.

"Michael Lohan, who is said to be Kaufmann's father, took a paternity test this week. Results are expected in the next two weeks.

Michael Lohan says he won't look at the naked pictures that his daughter Lindsay Lohan took recreating a famous Marilyn Monroe photoshoot.

"I'm not going to look at the photos - that's my daughter!" he told Usmagazine.com in a telephone interview this morning.

Still, he told Us he approves of his daughter's decision to recreate the iconic 1962 photos of Marilyn Monroe known as "The Last Sitting" for New York magazine.

"Lindsay is an adult, and she knows the direction she wants to take her career," he said. "It's her decision.

"The fact that the photographer [Bert Stern] who did Marilyn Monroe's pictures would ask Lindsay to re-create them ... that's an amazing thing."
