Just a week or so after Miley Cyrus posed for a Vanity Fair phootshoot with just a bedsheet, Hugh Hefner is saying when she’s old enough that she could pose in Playboy.

Playboy editor Hugh Hefner says Miley Cyrus will be “welcomed in the magazine” when she’s of legal age.

Hefner, 82, told Extra that the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star is a “very pretty lady.”

Last week Cyrus said she was “embarrassed” by a racy semi-topless portrait shot by Annie Leibowitz for Vanity Fair.

“I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality,” Hefner told Extra.

It actually kind of makes me laugh that people think Miley was tricked into posing almost nude. Just look at the picture above that she took of herself. She’s no innocent girl who was tricked you know. The money machine that is Disney was worried about it, but Miley wasn’t. It’s all about money and not morality.

Miley Cyrus is the Hannah Montana Disney star and is only 15-years old yet she did a photoshoot she did for Vanity Fair that has her appearing topless but covered. Now she’s saying that she’s “embarrassed” about it (photo above).

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she tells ET. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

The photo, on stands next week, accompanies an interview with Miley and her dad, BILLY RAY, and were shot by famed photographer ANNIE LEIBOVITZ. As seen on our show promo last week, they show Miley sitting in profile with just a blanket wrapped around her chest.

Vanity Fair editors respond: “Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley. In fact, when BRUCE HANDY interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photo and she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine.”

However, a Disney Channel spokesperson says: “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”

I don’t get what the big deal is. It’s some shoulder and a little of her back. We’ve seen more than that from her cellphone pictures that got leaked.

Miley Cyrus recently split from boyfriend Nick Jonas and is lonely, so lonely that she’s made a break-up video (along with a dancer friend of hers). Ahhh, to be 15-years old in this playground we call the internet. This guy has to feel like a real ass because the whole world is going to know that he made the most popular teenage girl in the world sad. I bet he starts getting hate mail soon. Some wacky teen from California got nailed by the FBI because he was planning to hijack a plane and crash it into a Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) concert.

The unnamed 16-year-old had handcuffs, duct tape, rope and other items with him on the flight Tuesday, and though there was no incident on the plane, the FBI says he had a plan to hijack the jet. “He had some general plans where he was going and indicated where he wanted to die.”

Even though Nashville media have reported that the plane was going to be directed to Lafayette, La. to interrupt a Miley Cyrus concert, it seems that the concert was scheduled for today, not Tuesday.

Miley Cyrus supposedly had her cell phone hacked and some pictures she took of herself were stolen. I have no idea how old she is, but it sure seems like people have it out for her suddenly…especially the media. Maybe it’s because they can’t get tickets to her sold out concerts.
