Tonight is night one of 4 nights of delish competitive reality. 5 choirs, 5 celebs, 5 styles of singing.

I'm not usually big on adding new reality shows to my TV viewing roster (Biggest Loser 4 Life), but this one has Patti LaBelle, Kelly Rowlands and Nick Lachey. Not to mention Michael Bolton and Blake Shelton (I had to look homeboy up; he's a country star...they love him).

Frankly I'm watching just for Miss Patti's hair alone. Kelly will surely wear an outfit that makes it worthwhile as well. But, seriously it's the Holidays and that means choirs...and singing.

The Competition aspect just makes it more fun. Take a peek at a clip.

Nick Lachey and his girlfriend Vanessa Minillo had an early birthday celebration in Puerto Rico recently, since their birthdays are on the same day. Tomorrow Nick will be 34 and Vanessa will be 27.

In terms of his birthday wish-list, Nick's desires are pretty down-to-earth, saying he hopes his brother, Drew, will get him a leaf blower while Vanessa is on her own to figure out what the singer wants. As for what the singer will surprise his girlfriend of a year and a half with, Nick will only say, "I already have it and actually asked if she wanted it tonight, but she said, ‘No, I want to wait.' "

I think she should get him a penis implant. Remember...Jessica Simpson once claimed "Nick's small package was a problem sometimes, like the first time we had sex, to tell you the truth, I didn't really feel much, I faked the whole thing, I really felt sorry for him, I still loved him though." Ouch!

On a side note, I want a leaf blower too. I'm sick of raking that crap up when I could just blow it all into the neighbor's yard.

He's a "dick in a box" dude from Saturday Night Live that is.

Sure many other sites are bashing the guy but do you think their uncreative asses even had a costume for Halloween? Right...

I think it's a good costume and is possibly only topped by the guy I saw in the Wendy's red hair wig. There's only one bad thing about Nick's costume though. According to the negative things ex-wife Jessica once said, that box could probably be a whole lot smaller.

It doesn't bother me any though. I don't spend time dreaming of dick. That dude writes on another site.

Ok, well...it was on in my house but I must confess. I was watching HBO's Deadwood. I do have a teen though and she was into watching the awards show.

Dane Cook was funny the few times I saw him as I passed by to get a soda and whatnot, but the whole rest of the show that I saw was pretty bland. I suppose you need to have Oxi-clean on your skin absorbed into your brain to find it all entertaining. I did catch one singer (whoever she was) and certainly didn't enjoy the lip-sync show, so I was glad not to watch the whole thing.

Jaime Pressly looked hot. I have no idea why she was there though. Maybe My Name is Earl won something. I did see the "Hottie Award" winners Jessica Alba and Orlando Bloom.

It was also wierd seeing Jessica Simpson and ex Nick Lachey in the same place. As Nick said when he won some award. "Awkward?"

It seems Jessica Simpson has been quoted by Times magazine stating that her ex-husband Nick Lachey is rather underdeveloped in certain areas.

"Nick didn't pack too well if you know what I mean, but I got over it."

She was also quoted even more recently stating more about Nick's, ahhhh...shortcomings.

I suppose that this news will come as a shock for Nick fans everywhere and possibly explain how he could hit those high notes when he's singing. It also might come as good news for some Jessica fans who have romantic desires on her.

Still though. I think it's mostly anger on her part to trash his reputation and I find it pretty low. Jessica has never been the smart type as we all know. Honestly, she is so much better when she doesn't talk.
