The rumors that were swirling turn out to have indeed been true. Actress Nicole Kidman and her country music husband Keith Urban finally announced that they are expecting.

"The couple are thrilled," Catherine Olim says in a statement.

For Kidman, 40, this will be her third child. She and her former husband, Tom Cruise adopted two children during their marriage: Isabella, now 15, and Connor, 12.

As for where Kidman and Urban, 40, who will be a first-time parent, may bring up their impending arrival, the couple, though both from Down Under, purchased a farm near Leipers Fork, Tenn., a half-hour southwest of Nashville, in 2007.

Nicole's ex-husband Tom Cruise who is now Second-in-Command of Scientology, remarked that he was happy her non-alien soul seemed at peace for now, since it's doomed anyway once Suri takes over the galaxy. Then he muttered something about a "death star" and making sure the plans aren't stolen. That's what I heard anyway, but it's probably not true.

I really should tag this as Celebrity Eye Candy with a nice fat Question mark after it. Nicole Kidman is on the cover of the October issue of Vanity Fair.

No matter how much Oprah tells us 40 is the new 30, there is no need to pose bra out once you've won an Oscar. Nicole your kids are too old for you to be giving Nautical boobage on magazine covers. If you insist at least get a little sunshine on them first.

Actress Nicole Kidman was taken to the hospital following a car crash on the set of The Invasion she is currently filming.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON KIDMAN ACCIDENT There was an accident involving a rigged camera vehicle on the set of THE INVASION Wednesday night (1/24/07) in Los Angeles. Nicole Kidman was in the vehicle at the time of the accident and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. She was released shortly thereafter. No other actors were involved in the scene at the time of the incident. Two additional crew members sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. The production took the appropriate steps following the incident to ensure the safety of the cast and crew. Production resumed Wednesday evening and Kidman will return to the set on Thursday, January 25.
