You remember just a bit ago when Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested for a whole mess of charges after he hit a car with his custom painted monster truck and then led police on a chase before getting arrested. During his run he actually hit a few more cars. One of the cars hit was Holli Griggs who was 16 weeks pregnant and it's just been mentioned that she's now suffered a miscarriage.

Holli Griggs, 38, was driving her 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the left lane on the southbound 55 Freeway just south of Bay Street on July 15 when Jackson's gray-and-green pick-up truck sideswiped her as he drove along the median lane at about 45 mph, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Prosecutors have yet to file charges against Jackson, a former light heavyweight champion for the Ultimate Fighting Championship who remains free on $25,000 bail. Prosecutors would not comment on any potential charges due to Griggs' miscarriage.

"Our office will make sure we take as much time as necessary to make a proper filing decision and including all evidence and medical information to make sure any charges that are filed are fair and accurate," Dist. Atty. spokeswoman Farrah Emami said.

Efforts to reach Jackson and his representatives have been unsuccessful since he was arrested.

Griggs was unavailable for comment Friday. Her fiance, Bill Krebs, said doctors were immediately concerned when they noticed a significant loss of fluid in Griggs' womb after the accident. Days before the crash, the couple had visited the doctor for an ultrasound, and Griggs was told she "had enough fluid for three babies," Krebs said. She was pregnant with a boy.

Damn! That's completely tragic and I imagine that Jackson will have to face the music for what he's done. I just don't get it. He caused like $1000 in damage and then ran from the scene. It now will cost him many thousands of dollars more, his reputation, and took someone's child. Boggles the mind.

Former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was just beaten by Forrest Griffin in the last major UFC event a couple weeks ago and now he got arrested yesterday hitting a few cars with his Ford F-250 customized truck and attempting to flee the police in Costa Mesa, Calif. Of course the truck had giant pictures of him on the sides of it, but whatever...

Rampage was on the 55 Freeway in the O.C., hit two cars and got off the freeway.

The chase was on.Rampage then began driving on the center divider. But it gets worse. According to the police report, Jackson then drove on the sidewalk, "causing pedestrians to flee for their lives." He started driving the wrong way on a crowded street, colliding with yet another car in an intersection. As he continued on, running several red lights, his tire disintegrated and he began driving on the rim.

Rampage eventually got to the exclusive Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, where he again drove on the sidewalk, "causing pedestrians to flee in terror."

Eventually, his car came to a stop and he was taken into custody at gunpoint. Cops took him to the Orange County Jail, but they determined he was "medically unfit" to be booked. Cops won't say if he was high.
