We heard yesterday about Jessica Simpson drinking heavily because 1) she and Tony Romo supposedly split up and 2) she's still hooked on John Mayer and he's with Jennifer Aniston now. Well the Dallas Morning News is all over the story and saying that even though it's not public, it's true.

But after taking several oaths not to divulge my sources, two people close to Tony and Jess have told me that the glam couple is splitsville, kaput, over, put a fork in it.

But on Wednesday, Jessica's rep shot down those reports telling E! Online, "Not true, not true! I spoke to Jess yesterday and the day before. They are still together." E! also sites an anonymous source as saying that Tony will be her date this weekend to her sister, Ashlee's, wedding to Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

A Tuesday edition of TV's Extra said the rumors of a breakup were not true. On the show, Jessica said, "I want to be married and have kids. I have a future ahead."

On Wednesday, Tony told Dallas Morning News reporters, "I'm not talking about Jessica," when they approached him as he was playing golf with Jerry Jones Jr. at the Dallas Cowboys annual sponsors' tournament at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine.

On Saturday, Tony was in Chicago with the boys and the word back from that scene is that he was saying, "Me and Jessica are done."

So have the couple actually split? I'm thinking it's indeed true for some reason. Maybe she started to pressure him on the whole marriage thing because here sister is getting married and all. You know how women are when that happens, the clock starts ticking. Tony was probably thinking he was already getting the milk for free so why buy the cow? It is a totally hot looking cow though.

Supposedly for the last couple days, Jessica Simpson has been hitting the bottle. Rumors say that she's broken up with Tony Romo and she was bummed out by the John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston thing because she's still got a thing for John.

The 27-year-old singer was so out of it after a four-hour session of drinking at L.A.'s Mexicali Cocina Cantina on May 10 - which started at the pre-happy hour of 4 p.m. with BFF CaCee Cobb and her beau Donald Faison - that she was reduced to leaving her Range Rover in the parking lot and calling her mom Tina for a ride home, Us reports (for good measure, CaCee Cobb threw up under the table); that same night, Us Weekly also reports that beau Tony Romo partied solo in Chicago and was overheard telling friends he was single again.

Awww! That's just a bummer for Jessica. I wonder what it is that makes guys just want to hit it and quit it? She's hot so it's got to be that she's lousy in bed or that she wants to talk just too damn much. I'm betting she wants to talk about unicorns and rainbows. Jessica Simpson is already starting to call Tony Romo her "future husband" which means wedding bells are probably on the way.

Rumor has it the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is shopping for rings, and Jessica's already referring to him as "my future husband." In an interview with Glamour, the smitten singer-turned-actress dishes how their whirlwind romance began.

It all started when Jessica was still in the midst of her split from Nick Lachey. "The cute story is that my family and I were watching a Cowboys game," she explained. "I was going through my divorce and - Tony would die if I told you this - but (on television there was a story) about him. They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson."

It was a year and a half later before the two would finally meet, but Jessica knew they had something special from the start. "The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, ‘This is my girl and I want to kiss her' - our first kiss in front of everybody - was awesome."

In the first 10 minutes of the date he wanted to lean over the table and grab those knockers is more like it. That's probably the real story, but he had to tell Jessica some fairy tale romance story of course. And you know she bought it hook, line and sinker because, well...she's kinda dumb.

Jessica Simpson's hard partying with boyfriend Tony Romo landed her in the hospital with supposedly an "infection" but now it's being said that she was treated for a host of stuff and also asked for a pregnancy test.

Reps for the singer said she was being treated for a "kidney infection," but an insider tells Star it was more than that. Jessica's health problems were "brought on by drinking an obscene amount of alcohol," says the source. "She was treated for a kidney infection, a bladder infection and a urinary tract infection."

Adding to her distress, anxious Jessica asked doctors to give her a pregnancy test! "She was a nervous wreck," says the insider. "She was three weeks late and convinced she was pregnant. She was feeling really weak and really scared. She was unraveling."

This story was just so hard for me to read. She's not having sex with Tony. No way! I'm more comfortable in my land of denial thank you very much and don't bring the subject up again.
